Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base in the digital marketing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for lead generation, client acquisition, and building long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing services, such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and content creation—and be able to communicate their value effectively to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential leads through research, cold outreach, and digital channels.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess potential fit and readiness to buy.
- Build a pipeline of high-quality prospects and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Develop creative outreach campaigns to attract attention and generate interest.
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
- Present and pitch tailored digital marketing solutions (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content Marketing, etc.) to prospective clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to generate new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to establish trust and credibility.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Understand client goals and challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions.
- Maintain strong, ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and conversion metrics.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Use data and insights to refine sales tactics and improve effectiveness.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and technical teams to align sales efforts with campaign capabilities.
- Contribute to the creation of proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
- Share client feedback to support continuous improvement of services.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and deliverables to close deals successfully.
- Ensure seamless transition of accounts from sales to client success or account management teams.
Market Research:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to adapt business development strategies.
Mentorship & Team Support:
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members when needed.
- Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the business development process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in business development or sales, ideally within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
- Digital Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO, SEM, PPC, content marketing, social media advertising, and analytics.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Sales Expertise: Excellent at lead qualification, sales presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- CRM Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Analytical Thinking: Able to assess client needs and propose targeted solutions.
- Networking: Skilled at establishing relationships and leveraging industry connections.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the UAE market with an understanding of cultural and business practices.
- Knowledge of local laws, advertising regulations, and consumer behavior in the region.
