Sales Development Representative

Overview:

We are looking for a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel growth at our digital marketing agency. This role is focused on lead generation, prospecting, and qualification, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality opportunities.
The ideal candidate is organised, confident in outbound outreach, and has a solid understanding of digital marketing services such as branding, social media, paid media, web design, and content. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a closing or senior sales role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Research and identify potential clients that can benefit from our services.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, online research, databases, and other digital tools.
  • Identify key decision-makers and gather accurate contact details.
  • Qualify prospects based on fit, need, budget, and readiness to engage.

Outreach & Engagement:

  • Initiate outbound contact via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Execute structured outreach sequences and creative campaigns to generate interest.
  • Clearly communicate our value proposition and introduce relevant services to prospects.
  • Handle first conversations professionally and confidently, uncovering pain points and opportunities.

Lead Qualification & Meeting Booking:

  • Conduct discovery-level conversations to assess prospect needs and alignment.
  • Book qualified meetings for the Business Development Manager.
  • Ensure all meetings are well-prepared with notes, context, and prospect insights.
  • Manage calendars and follow up to reduce no-shows and maximize attendance.

Pipeline Management & CRM:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in the CRM.
  • Track outreach, responses, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes.
  • Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to the BDM.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Work towards weekly and monthly KPIs (contacts made, leads qualified, meetings booked).
  • Provide regular reports on outreach performance and pipeline contribution.
  • Use data to optimize messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with the BDM to align on target accounts and priorities.
  • Share insights from prospect conversations to refine positioning and offers.
  • Support the wider sales and marketing team with feedback from the market.

Market Research & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points.
  • Continuously improve sales scripts, email templates, and outreach methods.
  • Learn and develop knowledge across our service offerings and sales process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–2+ years in an SDR, sales, or lead generation role (digital marketing experience is highly desirable).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Organization: Highly organized, able to manage high outreach volumes and follow-ups.
  • Proactivity: Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with services such as branding, social media, paid media, web design, content, or analytics.
  • CRM Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems (ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Confidence: Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers, and senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a digital marketing or creative agency.
  • Exposure to the UAE or regional market.
  • Experience booking meetings for senior sales or leadership teams.
  • Ambition to progress into a Business Development Manager or Account role.
